Program Description:

Study Abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico


Guadalajara
University of Guadalajara and the Programa de Espanol para Extranjeros (PEPE) is a renowned university and cultural immersion program located in Guadalajara, Mexico. This program is a Spanish Language program designed with linguistic and cultural advancement at the forefront. With six different levels of Spanish, there is a proficiency level for anyone! With classes focusing on all parts of language; speaking, listening, reading, and writing you will have every opportunity to practice your Spanish.

Guadalajara is Mexico’s second largest city and often looked at as the country’s cultural identity.  The Birthplace of Tequila and Mariachi music, Gaudalajara has transformed itself into Mexico’s “Silicon Valley” with its technological, industrial, and business advancements. With a planned week in Puerto Vallarta, the trip will be packed with natural beauty and historical culture.

Program Fee: $1,400
With APLU scholarship, plus Travel Grant.

What does the tuition include?

Accommodations
  • The housing is in double occupancy hotel rooms.
  • Participants must share their flight itinerary with the PEPE staff (after being accepted you will receive specific instructions regarding this matter)

After nominations, required documents by UDG


After you fill out the online form you will be required to upload the following documents:
  • Valid passport (6 months of validity from the PEPE’s ending date)
  • Curriculum vitae or Résumé (2 pages maximum)
  • Official transcript (including grades of the last academic term at home institution)
  • Brief letter of purpose explaining the reasons & interest in applying to PEPE Program
